What is the New Consciousness?

best new consciousness retreats

Earth is being bombarded by very high vibrations and this is shifting Earth's consciousness. And because people’s consciousness is part of Earth, we need to shift to be in resonance. This amplification is also bringing to the surface things had been previously hidden. They are being brought to the forefront of our awareness so that we can see exactly what’s been happening and can make our own decision whether we want to continue to stay in the old consciousness or move to the new.

To move to the new is not easy as old emotional wounds from the past need clearing and resolving, old relationships that no longer feel right need to be released and old cultural conditioning shed. It is like we are living in a valley full of choking smoke and need to get to the top of a nearby mountain where the air is pure and clear but between the two is a thick mist that we have to navigate through.

What is a New Consciousness Retreat?

A new consciousness retreat is an immersive experience designed to explore and expand awareness beyond everyday limits, often involving guided practices and structured environments for deep inner exploration. These retreats focus on personal transformation, mental clarity, and emotional balance, providing tools for sustained awareness in daily life.

These are the different types of retreats with examples.

Sound-Science Consciousness Retreats

They have programs using specific audio frequencies to alter brainwave states, helping participants easily access and explore deep consciousness states.

The first and largest organisation to do this is the Monroe Institute with then main base in the USA and other outlets internationally. Their lead program is the Gateway Voyage which is a six-day course designed to teach their core tools and techniques of audio-guidance technology for exploring consciousness. The cost is £2300 for 6 nights including accommodation.

Pros
Anyone can attend.
Its particularly helpful for more analytical people who may have difficulty doing meditation or self-hypnosis.
The audio tools can be taken for home use.
Cons
While it teaches the exploration of consciousness it does not focus on developing intuition or how to live in the new consciousness.

New Consciousness Immersion Retreats

These allow participants to sleep and work in a high vibrational setting. This helps participants develop intuition and use new energy techniques to maintain energy vibration outside the retreat and transform their life. They help participants shed the old consciousness by letting go of the ego and old beliefs, and are given tools to clear old emotional wounds.

The first organisation doing these retreats is Pioneering New Consciousness that started over ten years ago and has a program called Advanced Vibrational Techniques (AVT). This is a seven day course that also includes learning to use high vibration energy. The cost is £2200 for 8 nights including accommodation

Pros
The participants are attuned to the Council of Beings of Light that oversee the course.
The new consciousness environment is maintained for the duration of the retreat.
The AVT energy tools can be taken for home use.
Small groups allow for more personal attention.
Cons
Participants are carefully screened so not all applicants are accepted.

Shamanic and Ancient Wisdom retreats

These are based on eastern esoteric psychology or shamanic traditions.

Tibetan Buddhist tantra workshops emphasizes the transformation of negative emotions into aids for spiritual growth and a change of consciousness.

Silent retreats are beneficial for reducing stress, enhancing self-awareness, and fostering personal growth by providing a distraction-free environment for meditation and reflection.

Shamanic traditions include ayahuasca retreats that are designed to help attendees uncover and release past traumas and deep wounds that are consciously or subconsciously holding them back from living their best life. In the process attendees experience other levels on consciousness.

Pros
Often located in desirable centres like Costa Rica and South America.
They provide an opportunity to meet like-minded people.
Cons
While clearing personal emotional issues is helpful attendees do not experience the new consciousness.
Taking ayahuasca is unpleasant causing vomiting.

Conclusion

There is not one type of retreat best for everyone so have fun and follow your intuition.
